The San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (“SJVAPCD”) and partners have been awarded a grant from the California Air Resources Board (“CARB”) to implement a Car Sharing and Mobility Options Pilot Project based upon this Caltrans Planning Grant Study. Funding for the project “Ecosystems of Shared Mobility in the San Joaquin Valley” is provided by the Low Carbon Transportation program and is part of California Climate Investments, a statewide program that puts Cap-and-Trade dollars to work reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, strengthening the economy and improving public health and the environment—particularly in disadvantaged communities.
